MOVING ON SINCE 1962

Seabourne was founded by Sir Clive Bourne in 1962 and fast became the leading Parcel Delivery Service in Europe. With depots across Europe, Seabourne became synonymous with fast transit times and an unrivalled level of service, winning the prestigious Queens Award for Industry in the UK twice.

In the early eighties, the company acquired an airfreight division and later in the decade, added an international express courier operator to its impressive array of services. The nineties saw
Seabourne Express Parcels, the European road parcel arm of the business, being sold, leaving the company free to expand its freight and express courier operations more aggressively.

Seabourne Express Courier has since developed into one of the industry’s leading independent operators with offices across the UK, Holland, Belgium, Germany, France and South Africa.

From its humble beginnings over 40 years ago, Seabourne’s international services now incorporate:

All express courier services both import and export (including all timed options);

Express project work for large, complex assignments requiring specialist care;

All freight offerings both sea and air (for larger consignments);

An international mail service for everyday mail as well as bulk mailings;

Specialist packing and logistics for the Fine Arts and Antiques sector;

Storage and distribution for clients requiring warehousing.

The company has come a long way in the last four decades and plans to expand its operations further over the coming years, always striving to provide the highest level of service to its longstanding and valued clients.
