Seabourne faces numerous challenges from clients every day, but several spring to mind:
Electronics for Imaging (EFI) urgently required an 800 kg pallet to be collected from the Italian/Austrian border (area code 33082) and delivered in Birmingham, UK the next morning before 11.00. Needless to say, a dedicated driver collected the pallet at 15.00 and lodged it on the first available flight to London. The pallet arrived at London, Heathrow the next morning and was driven to Birmingham on a dedicated vehicle in time for the 11.00 deadline.
Leading South African courier operator Courier IT called Seabourne at 13.00 one Friday, requesting a pallet of 680kg to be collected from Manchester and delivered to Johannesburg for Monday morning. The pallet was swiftly collected in Manchester, sent overnight to London Heathrow airport, from where it was flown to Johannesburg on Saturday evening. By pre alerting South African customs in advance, Seabourne were able to clear the goods for express delivery to the customer, on time!
